Counselling
WHAT IS COUNSELLING FOR
Every person has a particular reason for attending therapy. This often stems from a sense of feeling stuck and/or a discontentment with life. Some people attend therapy to address and/or resolve a specific issue while others present for clarity in making important life decisions. Many seek to develop or improve their self awareness and work on becoming more familiar with and accepting of themselves and their lives.
WHAT DOES COUNSELLING OFFER
Counselling provides a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to unload, explore and navigate life’s challenges. Benefits from counselling can include enhanced self awareness, the development of healthier coping mechanisms, improved communication, increased confidence and more contentment with yourself and life in general.
HOW MANY THERAPY SESSIONS ARE RECCOMMENDED
Counselling is an interactive experience requiring time and presence, so how much or often you attend is dependent on your reason for attending and how much time and presence you can give. While there is no set number of sessions that you need to attend, many people experience improvement following a consistent course of 6 therapy sessions.
